My name is Quirijn
Hi, my name is Quirijn. I've been making music since I was 5, when I started playing the guitar. Since then I've played instruments for 2 decades, produced for over 10 years and I've been working as a freelance mixing engineer the last 2 years.
Last year I had the idea to start a company selling samples. I feel like a lot of music is sounding the same these days and part of the reason is that we are spoiled with services like Splice and Loopcloud that tempt us to use the 'best' and 'most used' samples. However great these services are and they have their uses, I believe that they reduce rather than increase our creativity. On top of that it is very uninspiring and timeconsuming to scroll through thousands of bad samples just to find one good one. That's why I created sampl.me focusing on analog sounds as well as actually useful sounds that are pre-mixed and ready to be used in a track. With good envelopes, nice transients and great depth.

The idea behind sampl.me is to give you the samples you need to be creative again. High-quality, no compromise sounds that can be the foundation of your track and help you find your signature sound. That's why all sounds I offer are meticulously sampled from the best analog synthesizers and not created by slapping together a few Serum presets or repurposing existing samples. More importantly, I invite you to re-sample my sounds again and I will have catalogues with longer samples in the future where you will be able to cut out loops and get inspired to start new tracks. Finally, I am on a mission to help you sound better by adding a selection of sounds to each sample pack that are pre-mixed by me, ready for your track. This means I will handle them with analog compressors, EQs and tubes to make sure each sound is tuned to perfection before you add it to your track.
